A new web portal for quality clinical and non-clinical evidence and best practice was officially launched on 30th April.
NHS Evidence is to be developed and maintained by NICE and will replace the National Library for Health (NLH) website. Much of the NLH’s content and functionality e.g. the specialist libraries and the Search 2.0 healthcare databases will be transferred over to NHS Evidence. It will be possible to search NHS Evidence using its inbuilt the FAST search engine while the Specialist Search function will allow users to search the healthcare databases using their NHS Athens logon.
